RPG Life Sciences closed the fiscal quarter with revenue at ₹211.6 cr, marking a 16.5% YoY rise and eclipsing the ₹206.9 cr seen in Q1 FY27. The lift comes from a 260‑basis‑point expansion in gross margin, even as raw material costs climbed.
Profit slipped to ₹28.22 cr, down 7% from ₹30.58 cr in Q1 and 23% from ₹36.85 cr in Q2 FY26. The dip is largely attributable to an extraordinary ₹11.22 cr gain that was factored in the previous year’s quarter.
Adjusted EBITDA climbed 15% to ₹50.1 cr, with an adjusted margin of 23.7% versus 24% a year earlier. Reported EBITDA, after a ₹5.5 cr one‑off cost, stood at ₹44.7 cr, while adjusted profit before tax grew 11.3%.
The newly acquired API plants – Actis Generics and Raghava Lifesciences – added ₹0.5 cr in Q2, with full revenue capture expected from both sites in Q3 FY27 once integration completes. Current domestic formulation sales grew 11.6% YoY, and the international arm up 6.4% in the quarter.
Managing Director Ashok Nair said the focus will remain on integrating the new facilities, scaling API operations, and tightening cost structures. Investors are watching the next earnings call on November 30 for guidance on the post‑acquisition synergies and potential margin improvement.
