Honorata Jamrozik, a mother of two from Dartford, Kent, won £1 million in the Omaze Monthly Millionaire Draw on 28 May 2026 and donated £5,000 to her long‑time neighbours to fund their first overseas holiday.
The neighbours, who have lived next door for 14 years, will use the donation to book a trip to Spain, a destination they have only dreamed of.
Jamrozik had been grieving her father’s death in Poland just two weeks before the win, a loss she said made the money feel like a blessing from beyond.
She had spent seven years fostering children before stepping back to care for elderly parents, a role that made her travel between the UK and Poland frequent.
The £1 million windfall will also allow her to resume fostering, according to her, “I can finally give back to children who need a home.”
She and her husband, who had joked about her chances before the draw, are planning a special anniversary trip in October 2026, hoping to share the joy with their family.
The Omaze Monthly Millionaire Draw, which costs £15 a month, has raised more than £140 million for UK charities since its launch in 2020.
