Adani Enterprises is set to pull ₹20 billion by selling short‑duration bonds, according to two merchant bankers.
The bonds will carry maturities under five years, and the company aims to close the sale within the current fiscal quarter, the banker said.
The proceeds are earmarked for general corporate purposes, but specific allocations remain unfinalised, the bankers added.
This move follows CareEdge Ratings’ recent upgrade of the firm’s long‑term rating to AA from AA‑— a one‑notch jump that signals a tighter risk profile.
Earlier in 2026, Adani Enterprises had already raised ₹10 billion through a public debt issue, with a third public issuance in July 2025 and a private corporate debt of ₹10 billion at an 8.70% semi‑annual coupon maturing in 2.5 years, last October.
The company has yet to comment on the announcement, and no price target has been released; investors will watch how the new debt fits into the group’s broader capital strategy.
