On 30 October, DMRC extended train operations to midnight on all lines except the Airport Express, in advance of Diljit Dosanjh's Aura India Tour concert at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
The corporation will run extra trips across the network and keep several rakes on standby to cope with any sudden surge in passenger traffic.
DMRC will also extend the QR ticket purchase window on its Delhi Metro Sarthi app by one hour, and deploy additional staff and metal detectors at JLN Stadium station to streamline entry and exit.
Dosanjh himself urged fans to use the metro in an Instagram video, citing Delhi Police's appeal for safe travel.
With an estimated 70,000 spectators, the extended services aim to reduce road congestion and provide a safe, environment‑friendly commute.
