The Magnascos’ East Boston townhouse at 35 Moore Street has been transformed into a towering, Dracula‑inspired façade after months of carving, painting and layering artificial moss.
They used fireproof foam, hand‑carved to mimic stone, and spent thousands of dollars on materials, though the couple said the monthly electricity bill for LED lighting tops out at about $45.
The free attraction has drawn families from New Hampshire and Salem, Massachusetts, and its Instagram and TikTok clips have accumulated roughly 70,000 views.
Neighbors, surprised by the unlikely spectacle, have welcomed the display, noting the construction itself became a neighborhood event and that the couple keeps the experience family‑friendly, even dressing as a half‑deer, half‑goat creature on stilts.
Looking ahead, the Magnascos are already planning next year’s display, hoping to turn the Halloween tradition into a lasting community landmark.
