River Mobility has just opened 10 new outlets across ten cities, pushing its footprint to 65 cities across 12 states. The new stores are spread across Lucknow, Agra, Udaipur, Ajmer, Chennai, Puducherry, Navi Mumbai, Pune, Visakhapatnam, and Delhi—bringing the company to its 100th showroom.
The expansion was made possible by a fresh $120‑million Series‑C round that River used to fuel retail growth. The capital will help the company scale its ecosystem at twice the pace, ensuring more test‑drive opportunities and quicker service turn‑arounds.
River aims to hit 150 operational stores by the end of 2026 and push past 200 by March 2027. That pace could translate into a denser service network, giving buyers a safety net when they need a quick fix or an upgrade.
Competitors like Tata Motors, Mahindra Electric, and MG Motor have already set up dozens of showrooms across the country. River’s aggressive rollout keeps it in the race, especially as buyers weigh range, price, and after‑sales support.
For an EV buyer, a larger footprint means more convenient locations to sit behind a wheel, ask questions, and get a warranty check. With showrooms spread from the metros to tier‑two cities, the brand is positioning itself as a full‑service option.
River plans to roll out its next wave of stores in upcoming months, with a focus on Tier‑1 hubs and high‑traffic corridors. Buyers should keep an eye on the launch dates in Jaipur, Hyderabad, and Bangalore, where the brand is expected to open soon.
