Shares climbed 4.55% to ₹517 after the company disclosed a 68.17% YoY drop in net profit to ₹15.22 crore for the September quarter, a hit largely attributed to a ₹44.98 crore impairment charge on its Nuclear Healthcare arm.
Revenue rose 25.1% year‑on‑year to ₹271 crore, matching the 25.1% uptick in EBITDA to ₹89 crore and keeping the EBITDA margin steady at 33%.
Test volumes grew 27.4% to 61.6 million, with franchise revenue up 26.9% and partnership revenue rising 27.9%, while the firm rolled out new specialty tests, including allergy panels, genomics, and a rapid home pregnancy kit.
CEO Rahul Guha said operational efficiency and network expansion drove the quarter, and the firm is preparing a point‑of‑care device line and aims to broaden its presence across chemist outlets.
The company is seeking shareholder approval to divest its Nuclear Imaging business, which could free capital for higher‑margin pathology services, and investors will watch the upcoming guidance for FY27.
