Shares of Senores Pharmaceuticals slid 6% to ₹1,283.20 on Thursday after the company disclosed Q2 results, closing below its ₹1,310 opening price on the NSE.
Net profit for the quarter ending September 2026 rose 22.3% YoY to ₹39.5 crore from ₹32.3 crore a year earlier, beating the market consensus of ₹35 crore. The jump reflects higher drug sales and a 5 % lift in price‑sensitive segments.
Revenue climbed 24.7% to ₹192 crore, up from ₹154 crore a year ago, driven by a 10% growth in the oncology portfolio and a 3% increase in generic contracts. EBITDA surged 39% YoY to ₹57 crore, up from ₹41 crore, pushing the margin to 30% versus 26.9% last year.
The 310‑basis‑point margin expansion places Senores above the sector average of 28% for mid‑cap pharma firms, but investors still discount the stock for its higher cost structure and slower R&D pipeline. Analysts note that the company’s net debt remains at ₹120 crore, a modest 1.5× EBITDA.
Senores will report its FY27 results on December 15, with analysts penciling a 10–12% revenue growth target. Until that date, the market is weighing the firm’s margin trajectory against its 2027 debt‑repayment plan.
