
Shares of Dhanlaxmi Bank jumped 1.45% to ₹27.12 on the NSE as its Q2 2026 earnings showed net profit rising to ₹25 crore, up 108% YoY.
Gross advances surged 22.29% to ₹15,948 crore, while total business climbed 21.08% to ₹36,500 crore, compared with ₹30,146 crore a year earlier.
Deposits grew 20.15% to ₹20,552 crore, current and savings deposits rose 16.83% to ₹5,769 crore, adding depth to the bank’s balance sheet.
Gold loan portfolio drove the growth, leaping 53.43% to ₹6,823 crore from ₹4,447 crore, while SME lending rose 35.90% to ₹2,544 crore.
Profitability improved sharply: net profit doubled to ₹25 crore from ₹12 crore YoY, aided by a 27.2% rise in net interest income to ₹177 crore, total income ₹484.25 crore against expenses ₹432.80 crore.
The bank’s management flagged a strong start to FY27, with expectations of continued lending momentum; investors remain cautiously optimistic as the sector navigates regulatory shifts.
