If you’re hunting a compact SUV that can climb a hill without breaking a sweat, the Mini Countryman Untamed Edition just dropped a 15mm lift and a 2,000kg towing capacity.
The all‑new exterior is a tactical update: a vertical grille now flaunts dark steel trim, a matte diffuser on the rear, and the 19‑inch Untamed wheels echo off‑road heritage. Under‑body panels are matte‑black and the wheel arches are wrapped in a protective film that gives the vehicle a rugged look without sacrificing the Mini’s signature silhouette.
Inside, the cabin keeps the adventure vibe: JCW sports seats draped in Vescin Nightshade blue, with a touch of cornflower blue detailing and a mountain motif on the steering wheel. The dashboard and door panels feature knitted surfaces, and the central storage box now comes with elastic retaining straps for better organization.
Powering the package are four variants—C, S, E, and SE—each available in petrol and electric options. The SE model lifts 15mm higher than the standard Countryman and can be paired with a towbar that lets you haul up to 2,000kg. The roof load rating is 75kg on the move and 300kg when parked, and the ALL4 all‑wheel drive is limited to selected trims.
Mini hasn’t confirmed an India launch yet, but the Untamed Edition is already on sale in other markets. Expect the brand to roll it out here in early 2027, albeit in limited numbers for the first wave of buyers.
