Metro Brands' Q2 net profit jumped to ₹76 crore, up 10% YoY, while revenue climbed 12.2% to ₹730 crore. EBITDA rose 15.6% to ₹197.4 crore, pushing margin to 27% from 26%—shares edged up 2.72% to ₹924.80.
The rise came despite the festive calendar shift, with September sales moving to October, delaying the usual holiday surge.
The chain added 21 stores and shuttered nine, bringing its footprint to 1,053 outlets across 223 cities and 31 states.
Online and omnichannel sales grew 12% YoY, now 14.2% of revenue, matching last year's share.
CEO Nissan Joseph said the company’s EBITDA growth outpaced revenue, a sign of tightening operational levers.
Looking ahead, Metro Brands plans to deepen its brand portfolio, widen its retail network, and invest in capabilities ahead of the December holiday rush.
