Cyient DLM’s Q2 net profit lifted to ₹34 crore on revenue of ₹393 crore, up 26.5% YoY. The shares fell 0.8% to ₹1,030 on the NSE, pulling back from a 16.7% monthly gain.
By contrast, the same quarter last year yielded ₹32 crore profit on ₹310 crore revenue, a 6% YoY rise. EBITDA climbed 9.6% to ₹34.1 crore, yet the margin slipped from 10% to 9%.
After stripping the ₹18.2 crore earnout gain, the normalized profit after tax sits at ₹15.82 crore, a 25.8% jump. Rajendra Velagapudi said the company had "strong growth momentum" despite the margin dip.
The aerospace arm ran the show, with revenue up 62% year‑on‑year, followed by industrial growth of 29%, defence 13% and MedTech 14%. The 62% surge in aerospace accounts for the bulk of the top‑line lift, Velagapudi noted.
Order book hit a record ₹2,813.7 crore, up ₹214.8 crore from the prior quarter, giving the company a clearer revenue runway. Velagapudi highlighted the book as a "strong revenue visibility" source.
Looking ahead, Cyient DLM will double‑down on AI, data‑centre infrastructure, robotics and semiconductor capital equipment, with the aim of creating greater value over the next few years, the CEO added.
