Nick and Vanessa Lachey bought back the 6,855‑sq‑ft Tarzana estate from Naomi Osaka in 2025 for $7.95 million, then listed it for $8.195 million with The Agency. They had moved to Hawaii to film NCIS: Hawaiʻi after selling the property in 2022—an unusual detour for a celebrity couple.
Osaka had purchased the property in 2022 for $6.3 million, after the Lacheys shifted their base to Hawaii. During her ownership she installed an 800‑sq‑ft fitness centre, a sauna, steam room, cold plunge and massage area, turning part of the grounds into a high‑level training facility.
The mansion, built in 2014, sits on half an acre and contains five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, custom millwork, a chef’s kitchen with Miele appliances, an infinity‑edge pool, hot tub, outdoor kitchen and sports court. The added gym features Osaka’s emblem and specialized recovery gear.
Architectural Digest analysts note that Osaka’s practice of buying celebrity homes, upgrading them and selling later produces outsized returns; the Lacheys’ asking price is almost $2 million higher than the 2022 purchase price. The Agency’s Mauricio Umansky and Craig Knizek are marketing the home to a niche crowd of athletes and high‑profile investors.
The listing is live, and early showings are already scheduled. Bidders are expected to arrive within weeks, potentially pushing the price beyond the asking point.
