Puneet Chandok, who leads Microsoft’s operations across India and South Asia, is set to take the stage at the NDTV World Summit 2026. The two-day event kicks off in New Delhi on October 22, with Chandok scheduled for a key session on Day 2. He joins Uber APAC’s Dominic Taylor and VFS Global’s Jiten Vyas for a panel titled “Building At Scale: The New Economy of India.”
The session, slated for 12:15 pm, will dissect how AI and cloud technologies are reshaping business landscapes in the region. Chandok’s role at Microsoft centers on accelerating this transition, pushing the tech giant deeper into the era of intelligent cloud solutions. It is a pivotal moment for a company betting heavily on India’s digital future.
Chandok brings a heavyweight background to this conversation. Before Microsoft, he spent over 11 years as a partner at McKinsey, where he built digital practices across Asia. He also led AWS services in India between 2019 and 2023, managing incubation and sales for the entire portfolio. His current remit includes chairing the CII AI Council and serving on NASSCOM’s Executive Council.
The summit itself, themed “A World Between Orders,” aims to gather political leaders, economists, and policymakers to tackle pressing global and domestic issues. With AI at the core of India’s growth strategy, Chandok’s insights will directly influence how industry leaders view the next phase of economic expansion. The stage is set for a detailed look at scaling technology for national benefit.
