Chauhan, a former municipal candidate from Delhi’s Kalkaji, testified that Bainsla had hurled a slur and intended to kill her.
Bainsla, a gym owner, was apprehended after a failed escape attempt in Rajasthan, where he fell and sustained injuries before receiving first aid at a local hospital.
Police added sections 109 (attempt to murder), 78 (stalking) and 79 (nudity offenses) to the case, and Chauhan was advised to undergo MRI and X‑ray scans.
