IRB Infrastructure Developers closed September 2026 with a gross toll revenue of ₹773 crore. That is a 24% climb over the ₹622 crore collected in the same month last year. The move signals strong traffic recovery across the company’s 20+ operational assets.
Subsidiaries drove most of the growth. IRB MP Expressway, the flagship Mumbai-Pune corridor, generated ₹162.1 crore, up from ₹139.6 crore. IRB Ahmedabad Vadodara Super Express Tollway brought in ₹79.5 crore, while IRB Golconda Expressway added ₹81.2 crore. Like-for-like growth across these mature assets hit 17%.
New entrants are already contributing. IRB Harihara Corridors (live since Jan 23), IRB Chandibhadra Tollway (live since Apr 1), and Meerut Budaun Expressway (live since May 17) collectively added over ₹105 crore in their first partial months of operation. This expansion is key to hitting the FY27 growth targets.
Deputy CEO Amitabh Murarka attributes the spike to "healthy traffic growth driven by enhanced economic activity" and the onset of Navaratri and Diwali. He expects this festive momentum to sustain through the holiday season. The market reaction was modest, with shares ending at ₹17.56 on the BSE, up 0.69%.
The next catalyst is the Q3 FY27 earnings release, likely due in early February. Investors are watching how the new tollways scale and whether the 24% YoY growth rate holds or accelerates into the festive peak.
