Steamhouse India opened Tuesday at ₹94.50, a 17% premium to its issue price, following an 80% jump in Q1 FY27 profit after tax to ₹18 crore.
Revenue rose 13% YoY to ₹128 crore, driven by a 46% increase in steam sales to ₹123 crore; EBITDA jumped 60% to ₹31 crore, pushing the margin to 24% from 17%.
Steam supply volumes grew 11.5% QoQ and 16.7% YoY, while EBITDA per tonne climbed 37% to ₹1,011 from ₹737. The company operates seven community boilers with 345 TPH capacity and a >50 km pipeline network.
Despite inflationary pressure from higher coal costs, the firm maintained margins through a pass‑through mechanism, and its steam‑generation business still accounts for 73.7% of revenue, underscoring its core focus.
Steamhouse India said it will continue exploring growth opportunities across geographies and business segments, including nitrogen and waste‑to‑steam projects, while navigating geopolitical uncertainties.
