Adani Airport Holdings and Taj Hotels have inked a deal that will launch eight new properties in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow and Guwahati. The hotels will feature the Taj, Vivanta, Gateway and Ginger brands, according to a joint press release.
The partnership aligns with AAHL’s strategy to create integrated airport ecosystems that fuse aviation, hospitality, retail and lifestyle amenities. With this deal, AAHL’s hotel portfolio now totals 15 properties across the country, following earlier collaborations with other luxury chains.
A spokesperson for Taj Hotels said the collaboration will provide passengers a seamless experience from terminal to bed, enhancing the brand’s reputation for service. The spokesperson added that the partnership would strengthen the airports’ commercial appeal.
The first hotels are expected to open in late 2026, with AAHL planning to extend the model to other airports by early 2027. The rollout will create new jobs and boost ancillary revenue for the airport network.
