
Shares of Suryoday Small Finance Bank surged 4.6% intraday after the bank posted a 34.6% YoY rise in gross advances to ₹14,972 crore, up from ₹9,765 crore a year earlier, according to the September quarter business update filed with the exchanges.
Disbursements climbed 27.4% to ₹3,095 crore, while total deposits grew 35% to ₹16,184 crore, a 10.6% sequential lift. Retail deposits were up 32.5% to ₹13,670 crore, bulk deposits jumped 50.1% to ₹2,514 crore.
The bank’s collection efficiency for one EMI stood at 97.7% and current-bucket at 99.1%, while gross non‑performing assets dropped to 2.9% of gross advances, down from 6.5% in Q1, per the filing.
Provisions were ₹135.77 crore, with ₹180 crore claimable under the Credit Guarantee Fund for Micro Units. GNPA amounted to ₹438.31 crore and net NPAs to ₹224.51 crore.
The stock, trading at ₹144.81, remains 2% lower than its issue price of ₹305 and has risen 2% YTD. Market participants are watching for the upcoming Q3 results scheduled for December 2026 and any guidance on asset quality.
