At 7:21 a.m. Sunday, police responded to a shooting on a residential street near an after‑hours strip club in Detroit. Three men and four others were found dead or wounded, all in their twenties or thirties.
Chief Todd Bettison said the incident began as a fight that escalated to gunfire, and he noted that the location has received seven calls this year.
Mayor Mary Sheffield urged anyone with information to contact authorities, saying the community must not tolerate such violence.
