Oskar Flodstrom, 23, turned a free acrylic base from Facebook Marketplace into a pill‑bottle‑shaped side table, investing roughly $120 in foam and a printed label. A June 2026 video posted under his alias Erik Oskr captured the assembly process and exploded online, pulling in millions of views.
Before the table, Flodstrom balanced swimming‑instruction gigs and music production, while sketching and testing designs in his cramped apartment. He hauled the acrylic base by bus, then wrapped foam around it and affixed a paper label to emulate an oversized medicine bottle.
NO LOGO, a prototyping firm, spotted the video and offered to produce a prototype. The company swapped the lid for a sturdier material and set up a Shopify storefront, turning the experiment into a commercial product.
Within two weeks of launch, the table generated $150,000 in sales, dwarfing Flodstrom’s initial outlay. He now plans to scale production through NO LOGO’s facilities, targeting the next fiscal quarter for mass availability. A San Diego buyer praised the table for adding "unexpected charm" to his living room.
Flodstrom remains a mobile creator, living out of a car while awaiting deliveries. The partnership with NO LOGO marks his first step toward a sustainable furniture line, with plans to expand the product range in the coming months.
