Carma HoldCo, a celebrity‑licensing firm co‑founded by former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson, filed a $10 million breach‑of‑contract claim against the Hulk Hogan estate in Florida on January 20 2026.
The suit alleges that Real American Beer, a beer brand launched in June 2024 that marketed itself as the “Real American” line, was created using Carma’s proprietary licensing concepts and that Hogan, who died in July 2025, was a brand ambassador for Carma before the brand went public.
In July 2025 Carma sued former executives in Chicago, accusing them of poaching Hogan and using Carma’s trade secrets to launch the beer. Those defendants counter that Carma never developed a beer agreement and that they never solicited Hogan.
Carma’s lawyers say the beer brand was built on stolen intellectual property and that the estate owes them damages of at least $10 million.
Hogan’s probate estate, valued at roughly $5 million and set to be inherited by his son Nick Hogan, could see a significant hit if the claim is upheld, as the demand exceeds the estate’s declared assets.
The lawsuit is pending before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida; the estate has been served and is expected to file a response by the court’s deadline.
