The new plant sits on an 11‑acre parcel in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, and already churns out 900 tonnes of aluminium castings each month.
By feeding both ICE and EV platforms, Endurance’s output plugs a critical hole in India’s auto supply chain, where shortages of structural and powertrain castings have dented production.
Compared to rivals like BHEL’s nascent casting arm and the overseas‑based BAE Components, the new facility brings a domestic, cost‑competitive alternative that can scale up to 1,100 tonnes per month by 2027.
The plant’s launch comes at a time when the government’s EV mandate is tightening—EVs must hit 30% of new‑car sales by 2030, and duty‑free EVs will only be available for those built with domestic parts.
With the first batch already shipping to Tata’s and Maruti’s assembly lines, buyers can expect delivery in the next quarter; the company plans a second wing next year to double capacity.
