Air Chief Marshal AP Singh told PTI that Operation Sindoor proved the IAF’s capability‑centric approach, striking deep into Pakistan’s terror infrastructure in May 2025.
But the operation was not a single‑weapon success; it married precision munitions, electronic warfare, and counter‑UAS tactics to break through layered Pakistani defences.
Singh said the IAF’s ability to adapt rapidly kept the escalation under control, a lesson he stressed would guide future missions.
The force’s success hinged on accurate intelligence, a networked command chain, and joint integration of air, land, maritime, space, cyber and electromagnetic domains, allowing decisions to be made in seconds.
He pledged that the IAF will push for greater resolve, ensuring swift, precise responses whenever the nation calls upon it again, a commitment that underpins India's strategic deterrence.
