While the reels themselves appear harmless, they gain a sinister undertone when viewed through the lens of Yadav’s alleged sexual offenses. The videos were posted during the height of the investigation into the alleged assault of a 14‑year‑old girl and her classmate.
In one reel, Yadav flaunts beer bottles beside a group of friends, while another shows him dancing with women who appear to be part of an orchestra group. A voiceover in one clip claims he is a 'younger son with a short temper', warning others in a combative tone. In a separate clip, he showers women with cash in a flamboyant Bollywood style. The videos also include a clip of two young girls traveling on a train, raising questions about consent.
The same pattern of misogyny surfaced in a video that surfaced on social media, allegedly showing Yadav wearing an orange mask while groping a minor girl in front of a class‑10 boy. The boy tried to intervene, but Yadav and three other men subdued him and forced the girl away. Authorities seized the footage and are investigating the allegations under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
During a routine transfer to a police station, Yadav allegedly attempted to escape and was struck in the leg by a bullet fired by the Jamui police. The wounded suspect limped away from the scene, his bravado fading in the face of pain. He was taken to a local hospital where doctors reported a non‑fatal leg injury.
Bihar Police confirmed the shooting and said they will keep Yadav in custody while the investigation continues. The incident has prompted calls from local community groups for stricter enforcement of child protection laws.
