If you’ve been waiting for an electric bike that fits Hyderabad’s traffic, Flying Flea’s new hub means you can now walk into a showroom for the C6. The brand’s first store in Bengaluru opened in July, and now the Erragadda Main Road outlet serves as the city’s central hub.
The Hyderabad setup consists of one company‑owned store plus three partner touchpoints, all linked in a hub‑and‑spoke layout. The hub handles major repairs and technical support, while the spokes take care of routine maintenance and battery checks.
The C6 is listed at ₹2.79 lakh ex‑showroom. For buyers wary of battery costs, the BaaS option drops the upfront price to ₹1.99 lakh, with the battery leased separately and replaced every few years.
With the launch in Hyderabad, Flying Flea joins other Indian EV bike players like Bajaj Chetak and TVS iQube. The new price point and local service network could tilt buyers away from petrol alternatives, especially as state EV incentives and higher diesel duties tighten the resale window for internal combustion engines.
The rollout began on Friday, and orders are expected to be accepted by early next month. Keep an eye on the rollout in other metro cities, as Flying Flea looks to roll out a wider dealer network across India.
