Gym trainer Nandan, 25, was found dead in the apartment of client Anush in Kempapura, Bengaluru, on Sunday morning between 7:00 and 7:30 a.m. He was a resident of Jakkuru Layout and worked at a gym in Sahakara Nagar.
After a gym anniversary gathering on Saturday evening, Nandan and his colleagues Vishwanatha, Sharath, and Nishanth went to Anush’s flat to spend the night. Deputy Commissioner Mithun Kumar said the men had argued over personal issues before the clash.
Police reports state that a physical altercation erupted, during which Nandan was fatally struck. Two of the accused, Vishwanatha and Sharath, sustained minor injuries. Nandan was rushed to a private hospital in Hebbal but died from his wounds.
The Amruthahalli police station has registered a murder case, and the four accused have been booked for interrogation. CCTV footage from the apartment and surrounding area is currently under analysis to reconstruct the sequence of events.
The investigation will proceed with detailed forensic examination, and a court hearing is expected within the next fortnight. Families of the victim and the accused are awaiting further updates from the authorities.
