The victim’s father, Ramji Lal Ahirwar, alleges the death was a murder orchestrated by Nilesh, who according to him arrived in Jhansi on October 23 and failed to disclose a prior marriage.
Superintendent of Police Preeti Singh confirmed that police received a call at 10:50 am from the district hospital that a woman had been brought dead, and that Nilesh was questioned at the hospital and later detained by Sipri Bazar police.
