Rajasthan police detained Ritik, 22, from Begusarai, after a train‑station arrest connected to the Sunday shooting of actor Tiger Shroff in Mumbai.
The attack, captured on video in Juhu, left Shroff unhurt but injured his driver and a bystander, while Mumbai Police have taken custody of the three accused.
Ritik, known as Roshan, was one of three arrested at Kota station; the others, including a 14‑year‑old, were named Rehan from Sonipat and an unnamed juvenile.
Mahto’s wife insisted the police photo did not match her son, prompting SP Maneesh to launch an investigation to confirm the suspect’s identity before filing charges.
