The arrest has intensified scrutiny over police involvement in drug networks; the officer’s wife, who shares a rented flat with his parents, said she was stunned by the allegations.
A charge sheet has been filed at Ghall Khurd police station under Sections 34 and 39 of the NDPS Act and Sections 5 and 13 of the Arms Act, and investigators will trace the supply chain and identify any co‑conspirators.
