The incident unfolded in a business park on University Drive, close to State Route 143, where the suspect smashed a window and entered the premises.
Curran Rose, a front‑desk employee, recalled the scene: "The window was shattered into pieces. He just grabbed the boxes and walked out. No one was hurt."
The store’s owner has announced a $1,500 reward for anyone who supplies information leading to the suspect’s arrest.
Apple Mac Minis, priced between $900 and $1,900, were left untouched in the display; the thief merely took the empty cases.
The owner said the break‑in has left the staff uneasy, with some employees expressing concern about future security.
Police are reviewing footage and expect to identify the suspect before the reward deadline; the case is now in the local district attorney’s office.
