The post was personal, to say the least. Trump mocked MS NOW for rebranding from MSNBC due to "lack of viewership and credibility." He also accused Politico of receiving an "illegal and ridiculous $8 Million Dollar subscription" from the Biden administration to keep them "alive." He called that arrangement corruption. To him, it’s simple math: bad coverage equals fake news. So, no entry. That’s the rule now.
This isn’t the first time Trump has clashed with the press, but the scope here is different. He’s moving beyond tweets and general grievances to enforce a physical barrier.
