The clip that set the drama in motion shows a dejected Shiva Sharma pleading with Shraddha Dubey, saying he would return the Rs 15‑20 lakh he owed within a month and that she could keep his car in the interim. Ranjana Sharma, the businessman’s mother, later posted the same footage, insisting her son was being threatened with obscene videos and physical abuse.
The mother’s accusations extend beyond the couple: she names Dubey’s sister Rashmi, an unnamed driver Danish, and a man called Adil as accomplices in the alleged plot.
Dubey, in a one‑minute video released the same day, flat‑out denies any wrongdoing, declaring the death a suicide and pleading not to be linked to politicians. She recounts a tense night at a café, the call at 2 AM, and claims her boyfriend had been depressed after a series of debt calls.
Police in Lucknow have filed a murder case, naming the influencer and her alleged co‑conspirators as suspects. The authorities are expected to question the parties involved and investigate the flat’s security footage before searching for the missing suspects. The case will likely go to the court next month, with a preliminary hearing set for November 5th.
