Warrier’s lawyer, Santhi M, painted a picture of a relentless barrage: “Sasan…makes around 10,000 pieces of content daily on media and social media to defame me,” the counsel said, echoing the actress’s earlier criminal complaints filed in 2022 and 2023.
Meta, caught in the crossfire, has been ordered to remove the defaming posts, a rare public‑service move for the platform in a high‑profile Indian case. The court’s temporary injunction bars Sasidharan from spreading further falsehoods until the hearing on November 5.
