In a brutal daylight assault at House No. 16, Vishnu Lok Colony, Dehradun, an 80‑year‑old man, his 76‑year‑old wife and a 55‑year‑old domestic helper were all stabbed with a screwdriver. Their names are K S Kapoor, Rajni Kapoor and Tiliya Devi of Darbhanga, Bihar.
Neighbor Bharti Bhandari, who was home at 3 pm, heard a commotion, saw a young man attacking the helper, and alerted other residents. A passer‑by apprehended the assailant before he could escape, and he was handed over to police.
