In the mixed‑team final, Chikitha Taniparthi and Sahil Jadhav edged South Korea 158‑157 in a shoot‑off, while the men’s trio of Kushal Dalal, Sahil Jadhav and Ganesh Mani Ratnam Thirumuru snatched the last gold, beating China 238‑237.
Shooting added the sixth gold when Neeru Dhanda and Kynan Chenai stormed the mixed‑team trap, finishing 34‑point and setting a new Games record; this was Dhanda’s second gold of the Games and the first Olympic quota for India in the compound mixed‑team event.
The remaining medals – three boxing bronzes and a wrestling bronze – rounded out a 60‑medal haul of 21 silvers and 29 bronzes, keeping India in the top‑ten while Bahrain edged them to seventh with 11 golds.
