Chandrababu Naidu boarded a special government aircraft at 10:05 a.m. on September 17, heading for Varanasi, the heart of the BJP’s parliamentary stronghold.
At 1 p.m., he will join senior BJP leaders at the Rudraksha International Convention Centre for the Seva Sankalp rally, where Modi’s birthday is being commemorated across the country.
The chief minister’s itinerary also includes a stop at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, a symbolic nod to the long‑standing alliance between the Telugu Desam Party and the Bharatiya Janata Party, before he heads back to Vijayawada in the evening.
The event underscores the renewed partnership that helped form the Modi‑led government after the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and signals a continued joint push in Andhra Pradesh, where the TDP, BJP and Jana Sena contest future elections together. The month‑long Seva Sankalp campaign will conclude on October 17, marking 25 years of Modi’s public service.
