Sobha reported a 40% sequential drop in total sales value, after ₹3,656 crore in the June quarter, reflecting a sharper decline compared to the 16% YoY gain noted for the year.
The sales area rose 2.2% YoY to 1.42 million sq ft, but fell 39.3% quarter‑on‑quarter, underscoring the slowdown in transaction volume.
Average price per sq ft climbed 13.7% YoY to ₹15,522, up from ₹13,648, yet slipped 0.9% sequentially, indicating a mild compression in pricing momentum.
Sobha’s share of the total sales value reached ₹1,882 crore, up 22.4% YoY, while its Q1 FY27 net profit surged 264.3% to ₹51 crore, and operational revenue grew 50% to ₹1,278.1 crore.
Shares dipped 0.9% to ₹1,213 on Thursday, marking a 17% year‑to‑date decline, as investors weigh the sequential slowdown against the year‑over‑year resilience.
With FY28 guidance unchanged, the company aims to sustain healthy margins amid tightening market conditions, while analysts forecast a cautious rebound as demand stabilises.
