The September quarter saw Sobha’s net profit shrink to ₹33 crore, a 54.8% decline from ₹73 crore in the same period last year. Shares closed 1.04% lower at ₹1,176, reflecting the profit slump.
Revenue slipped 31.3% to ₹967 crore, down from ₹1,408 crore year‑ago. The loss mirrors a broader slowdown in the Indian real‑estate market, where comparable developers reported similar revenue contractions.
EBITDA fell 28.1% to ₹69 crore, yet the margin remained flat at 7% versus 7% a year earlier, indicating cost discipline amid declining sales.
The company’s pipeline of 20.42 million sq ft boasts a sales potential of ₹31,353 crore, with an expected ₹22,041 crore revenue from units already sold. Project‑level EBITDA margins are projected to exceed 30%, while cash flow from current and forthcoming projects is estimated at ₹19,748 crore.
Sobha disclosed a contractual dispute with its subsidiary Sabha Assets Private Limited. The customer’s termination claim of ₹295.61 crore and forfeiture of a ₹22.73 crore guarantee is being challenged in arbitration, but the company says the matter will not dent its standalone results.
As of now, the firm has not issued revised guidance for FY27. Investors will watch the next quarterly filing for any updates on revenue forecasts or margin targets.
