Joe Whale opened his 10-character 'Ambassadors of Feeling' exhibition at the Truman Brewery in London on Oct. 23, 2026, unveiling 22 new acrylic paintings and sculptures.
Whirled into fame at nine when his doodles on a Shrewsbury restaurant wall earned him the moniker 'Doodle Boy', a career that later attracted Nike, Disney and Marks & Spencer.
The show focuses on ten figures—Direction, Care, Humanity, Rebellion, Positivity, Peace, Imagination, Unpredictability, Impact, and Awareness—each crafted to embody a distinct emotional state, curator Anjali Mehta explained in the exhibition’s press brief.
Local resident Priya Patel, attending the opening, said the artwork "prompted her to confront her own feelings about change"; Whale will begin a European tour in Paris on Oct. 28, 2026, after the London show concludes.
