FSSAI issued a notice to AB Hotels Ltd, operator of Radisson Blu Hotel in New Delhi, on Friday, citing repeated hygiene violations.
The inspection uncovered rusted machinery, freezer leakage, and poor ventilation; fridge temperatures were not monitored and the floor was slick with stagnant water.
Pest control was grossly inadequate, with cockroach and fly activity, while food procurement checks revealed fungal‑affected produce.
The regulator also flagged cooking oil with TPC values of 31 and 24.4 in the NYC kitchen, improper segregation of raw and cooked foods, and staff working without gloves or hairnets.
FSSAI warned that failure to submit corrective action reports with evidence could lead to suspension of the hotel’s licence; the authority will review compliance in the coming week.
