On Wednesday, a spokesperson for Harry and Meghan claimed that photographers from across Europe hovered around the perimeter of the children’s private school, capturing images of the grounds and the students.
The family returned to Britain in May after spending three years in the United States, and the children enrolled at a private institution in the Cotswolds. Earlier in August, the couple switched schools because the driveway outside the previous school had become a traffic bottleneck for paparazzi.
Harry has repeatedly criticized the press, citing the 1997 death of Princess Diana as a catalyst for his vocal stance. He has also pursued legal action against media outlets over images of his brother’s family.
The spokesperson said the incident could prompt a formal complaint to the British Press Standards Authority and that law enforcement might consider stricter protection for the children. An inquiry into the school’s security measures is expected next week.
