The 'Vadnagar to Varanasi Seva Sankalp Yatra' crossed a significant milestone on its journey, touching down at the Gurukunj Ashram in Mozhari, Amravati district. Organized by the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, the march aims to disseminate Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for rural transformation. The arrival was marked by a formal welcome ceremony led by BJP Maharashtra State President Ravindra Chavan.
Chavan proceeded to the Samadhi and throne of National Saint Tukdoji Maharaj, a figure deeply revered in the region for his contributions to social reform. He was joined by BJYM President Krishnaraj Mahadik, MP Dr. Anil Bonde, and MLA Dr. Sanjay Kute. The gathering underscored the party’s strategic emphasis on aligning modern governance narratives with local spiritual and cultural icons.
The program moved quickly from ceremonial respect to practical action. Organizers initiated a tree plantation drive, followed by the distribution of educational materials to local students. Sanitation workers were also honored, a symbolic gesture intended to highlight the dignity of labor. These activities were framed as tangible expressions of the yatra’s core message: service through direct engagement.
Addressing the crowd, Chavan drew a direct line between Tukdoji Maharaj’s historical advocacy for rural upliftment and the current administration’s policies. "Modi ji is promoting this very idea," Chavan stated, urging workers to ensure welfare schemes reach every last citizen. The speech served as a rallying call for grassroots mobilization in the Marathwada region.
The yatra continues its march toward Varanasi, carrying a message of integrated national development. As the procession moves forward, local BJP units are expected to coordinate further outreach initiatives in the districts ahead.
