Donald Trump shouted at CNN correspondent Kaitlan Collins during the UN General Assembly in New York on Tuesday, rebuffing her question about the Iran war.
The exchange came after the Trump administration announced a ban on CNN, MS NOW and Politico from the White House, citing the outlets' reporting as "fake news".
Collins had asked Trump, "Two thirds of Americans don't think the U.S. is winning the war with Iran. When will it end?" Trump refused to answer, instead telling her, "You should not be here covering me…".
CNN said its journalists were credentialed by the United Nations to cover the General Assembly, and the three outlets have filed a lawsuit seeking a temporary restraining order in federal court.
The court is scheduled to hear the case this week, while the White House maintains that access is a privilege and stands by its decision.
