In June 2026, the Adani Group and Jabil announced their intention to create an AI and data‑centre manufacturing ecosystem in India, a plan that now comes to life with the signing of a 50:50 MoU.
Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani said the move will help the company "expand up the AI value chain" and move beyond simply powering and hosting AI infrastructure.
Jabil CEO Mike Dastoor highlighted the company’s 60‑year engineering legacy, adding that the partnership will allow them to bring rack‑level solutions to hyperscalers across India and worldwide.
Both firms projected that the global market for AI computing hardware could exceed $3 trillion over the next seven years, and the joint venture would provide a domestic manufacturing base that can also serve export markets.
The alliance dovetails with Adani’s $100 billion pledge to build 5 GW of green‑energy‑powered, hyperscale AI‑ready data centres by 2035, positioning India as a key node in the global AI economy.
The MoU remains subject to definitive agreements, regulatory approvals and customary conditions; the companies plan to finalize the partnership framework within the next quarter.
