Bonfiglioli Transmissions has set a price band of ₹558 to ₹586 for its 4.32 cr share offer‑for‑sale, targeting ₹2.53 trn in proceeds—no fresh issue, so the company will not pocket new capital.
The allocation is split 50% to qualified institutional buyers (2.15 cr shares, ₹1.26544 trn), 35% to retail (1.51 cr shares, ₹885.81 cr) and 15% to high‑net‑worth individuals (0.6478 cr shares, ₹379.63 cr). Retail investors can buy in lots of 25 shares, a minimum of ₹14,650, while small HNIs need 350 shares (₹2.05 lakh) and large HNIs 1,725 shares (₹10.10 lakh).
Each share carries a ₹10 face value, and the IPO will be listed on both NSE and BSE on Oct 23, 2026. Allotment is set for Oct 21, with shares credited to demat accounts and refunds unblocked on Oct 22.
Post‑issue, the company’s market capitalisation stays at ₹11,016.56 cr and promoter holdings will slide from 100% to 77%. Bookrunners include Axis Capital, BNP Paribas, ICICI Securities and Jefferies India.
In a sector that serves gearmotors, gearboxes for wind turbines and industrial processes, Bonfiglioli’s IPO follows a modest wave of machinery‑related listings, but it is the firm’s first public offering. Investors will watch whether the demand meets the ₹2.53 trn target and how the share price reacts on its debut.
The listing on Oct 23 will test market appetite for niche industrial players, with analysts eyeing whether the 50‑50 QIB/retail split translates into a smooth debut and whether the company’s valuation aligns with peers in the machinery and automation space.
