Tata Motors raised its takeover offer for Iveco to €14.40 per share, up €0.30 from the €14.10 bid announced in July 2025.
The €14.40 price represents a 33.47% premium to Iveco's closing price on July 17, 2025, and a 6.77% premium over the July 29 level.
If all 271.2 million shares are tendered, the total payout climbs to €3.91 bn, an €81.36 m increase over the original €3.82 bn ceiling.
Tata secured an €85 m credit line from MUFG Bank’s GIFT City branch and filed for an additional bank guarantee to cover the higher obligation.
Shareholders who accepted the original bid need not resubmit, as the improved price is automatically applied to their shares.
The offer remains final; Tata will not raise the price further, and the acceptance period began September 7, with a decision deadline of October 31.
