Pranav Adani, director of Adani Enterprises, told a gathering of investors and state officials that the group will channel ₹6 lakh crore into Maharashtra's infrastructure, energy, and aviation sectors, with ₹2.6 lakh crore already underway.
The announcement came during the state's Invest Maharashtra launch, held in Pune, with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Sunetra Ajit Pawar in attendance.
Adani's portfolio includes the upgraded Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, the greenfield Navi Mumbai International Airport slated to handle 90 million passengers, a 1,000‑MW HVDC link, and a Dharavi redevelopment plan that preserves livelihoods.
Maharashtra aims to become a one‑trillion‑dollar economy by 2030, and the ₹6 lakh crore investment will feed into that target, with the state slated to roll out a detailed roadmap in the coming weeks.
