The dedication ceremony took place on 5 November 2025 at Harlan Stadium, where the field was officially christened Prescott Field. KSLA News 12 reported that the evening featured fireworks, a live band, and an attendance of roughly 3,000 people, including former teammates, Bossier Parish School Board staff, and local business owners. “It’s a dream come true for me and my brothers,” Dak said to KTAL, while holding a signed football.
The scoreboard, costing an estimated $750,000, will display live statistics, video replays, and school logos, transforming game day into a professional‑level experience. Haughton’s athletic director, Maria Sanchez, said the upgrade will help attract regional tournaments and increase revenue for the school’s sports programs.
With the funds secured, Haughton Athletics plans to begin renovations next month and will host its first postseason game in the upgraded field during the 2026 season. The school also announced a yearly fundraiser, in partnership with the Bossier Parish Board, to maintain the facilities and support future scholarships for student‑athletes.
