28,000 vehicles—Toyota Kirloskar's September haul—fell 14.1% from August's 33,000. Domestic sales slipped to 25,000, a 11.9% drop, while exports shrank 28% to 3,000 units.
Still, the brand's cumulative January–September total reached 295,000, an 8% increase over the 273,000 sold in 2025. Domestic sales alone climbed 9% YoY to 270,000, whereas exports slipped 2% to 250,000 units.
The dip in exports reflects a broader slowdown in overseas demand, but domestically the lineup—Innova HyCross, Fortuner, Camry Hybrid—keeps the brand in the news. Dealers report steady footfall for the Innova Crysta and Fortuner, the two models that dominate the mid‑segment.
TKM's two Bidadi plants can churn out 342,000 units a year, a cushion that keeps the supply chain breathing. With 6,662 employees, the company can shift focus from production to dealer‑engagement programs as the festive season approaches.
Sabari Manohar, the sales‑service executive, said the company will intensify dealer outreach next month, aiming to keep the momentum. For buyers, that means no sudden price hikes and a steady stream of new arrivals as the market recovers.
